Dunholm's Grave
Dunholm's Grave is a place of interest and holy site that has been declared a place of archaeological and religious significance. It lies within the boundaries of Moorland, specifically within the Council of Nevermoor. In 1726 the site was wrested from hostile forces and brought under the protection of Moorland, who declared it a National Archaeological Site in 1727 and placed it under protection from development and desecration. The mound, according to folklore, is rumored to be the final resting place of the Archbishop of Castrum Nazarene, Alfred Dunholm, whose body was spirited away from Fifth Isle and buried in a secret location. It was considered lost for many years and was only known as a legend by locals. Interest in the site was renewed during Operation Northway when a major battle was fought in the nearby farm fields. Since taking possession of the site, Moorland's public works department has been responsible for upkeep and has begun maintaining the location as a public museum while archaeological excavations and research are ongoing. The utmost care is being taken to avoid desecrating the site, as it is considered a holy place by adherents of the Church of the Holy Lance and the Church of St. George.
