Donat Ravaillac was a Hammish politician who led a governmental usurpation in his homeland during a period of political instability that instigated the Hammish Civil War. Ravaillac's assassination would subsequently play a key role in the war's outcome, leading to the rise to power of General Augustus Eliphas' martial governance and Hammish societal collapse.
Ravaillac's daughter, Regina, would ultimately lead a group of loyalists to the conclusion of the Hammish Civil War and the Declaration of Zalae to found Caputia, where she would be unanimously chosen to rule under the regnal name of Queen Elizabeth I.
