The Defense Against Seditious Activities Act, 1715, colloquially known as DASAA, is a controversial Aerlan law enacted in 1715 AN under the Presidency of Henry Cassian. It set criminal penalties for publications and speech deemed to be "seditious in nature" and gave the government authority to censure any type of speech that can create an immediate threat to public safety. It also set criminal penalties for advocating for the overthrow of the Aerlan government.
The law has faced several court battles due to it's apparent anti-free speech nature, the High Court of Aerla has upheld the law on numerous occasions. Notable figures indicted for violated DASAA include Constantine Veracek and several members of the People's Revolutionary Communist Party of Aerla.
