Confederate States State Commission
The Confederate States State Commission, commonly referred to as the State Commission, is a federal executive commission responsible for carrying out Florian foreign policy and intermicronational relations. Established in 1684 as the nation's first executive commission, its duties include advising the President of Floria, administrating the micronation's diplomatic missions, negotiating treaties and agreements with foreign entities, and representing the U.S. at the United Nations.
The department is led by the Secretary of State, a member of the Cabinet who is nominated by the President of the Confederate States and confirmed by the Senate. The Secretary of State serves as the nation's chief diplomat and representative abroad, and is the first Cabinet official in the order of precedence and in the presidential line of succession.
The current Secretary of State is David Brown.
