The Chapeau de Louisville is a type of hat that was invented by milliner Caroline Cloche in 1708. The hats became popular in the late 1720's when Galadriel Camel made her debut at the South Cibolan Fashion Week wearing a Chapeau de Louisville. The hats are made out of felt, have a rounded crown and noticeably don't have wide brims, but its narrow brim is usually pointed downwards so that it resembles a bell. They are worn low on the head, just above the eyes.
