The Cabinet of Sevetia is the executive branch of the government of Sevetia. It consists of the Ministers of State, one of them being also the President.
Appointment
Ministers are selected through Government Service Examinations, and formally appointed by the Sevetian People's Assembly. Ministers are allowed to hold their positions for up to four years. The Cabinet is responsible to the People's Assembly, and ministers must resign if a motion of no confidence is adopted by the People's Assembly.
Powers
The main powers of the Cabinet are the following:
- Execution of the law.
- Conduct of foreign affairs.
- Conclusion of treaties (with the consent of the People's Assembly).
- Administration of the civil service.
- Drafting of the budget.
- Adoption of cabinet orders.
Current Cabinet of Sevetia
The Cabinet is composed of ten Ministers. Sevetian law does not set a maximum number of Ministers.
