Stadium

The Beyrouth Barbarians have grown in attendance since they started out with 150 people and now at over 125,000 people at regular matches making it one of the largest stadiums in the country and one of the most active stadiums as well. Beyrouth Field has a dedicated train station linking it to the main city of Beyrouth for regular tram services back and forth from the city benefiting spectators and players alike.

Mascot

The Beyrouth Barbarians are represented by Mighty Sam the Barbarian as their official mascot who can be seen roaming the sidelines during matches with his larger than life foam battle axe. The mascot was chosen after 6,500 elementary and middle school students were given a chance to draw a character in 1951 to represent the Beyrouth Barbarians. A drawing by a 6th grade student was ultimately chosen and Mighty Sam was born on December 2, 1951.
