Basella is the administrative capital, and largest city, of the Barbarian Republic, home to the Council of Basella. The city was first included in MCS mapversion 13.2.0 which was published in the year 1537. During the South Batavian era, the city was home to the Magister of the Catologian Church. In 1590 the city became the host for the Ecclesiastical Academy of Pentapolis, which left Basella in 1604 but returned in 1686. In 1594 the city joined the Shanglu rebellion together with most of Barbary.
