Men's singles
The 32 highest ranked players are automatically qualified and seeded in the competition, meaning they can't play against each other in the first round. They are assigned to different brackets to keep the best players apart for as long as possible. 20 players qualify for the main competition based on the official rankings. 35 players participate in the qualification tournament to produce eight entries into the main competition. In addition to these, there are four wild card entries into the main competition. Players that can receive a wild card are Masters finalists during the current year that have not qualified as a top 52 player. If no such players exist, those four berths are assigned based on ranking.
