Ronald Trueman Jr., the 9th president of the Confederate States of Floria, delivered a State of the Confederacy address on 1-12.XIII.1753 AN, in the chamber of the House of Representatives to the Florian Congress. It was Trueman's first State of the Confederacy address in his second term. Overall, it was Trueman's third State of the Confederacy Address. Presiding over this joint session was the President pro tempore, Stanley Brown, accompanied by Rachael Halpburg, the vice president in her capacity as the president of the Senate. Speaker of the House, Oliver House was unavailable due to illness.

Lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes, it was the longest State of the Confederacy address in Florian history. 36.6 million watched the address making the address the most watched in history. The speech served a precursor to the Northcliff Conference which ended the Corum War and Operation Dominion Tide as a whole.

Background

The Confederate States Constitution requires that the president of Floria "from time to time give to the Congress information of the state of the Confederacy". The State of the Union address is traditionally delivered as a speech between 3 to 6 years after an election year.
