Design and Construction

The stadium on construction.

The stadium project was presented in early 2020, the stadium would be a football stadium with a unique exterior, this stadium was to be built in Naldere. The project in Naldere was quickly abandoned and a new, better project was presented and this stadium was to be built in place of the old stadium in Yarımada. The project is designed to be expandable up to 65,000 going forward and the groundwork was laid in February 2020.

While the rough construction of the project was finished in August 2020, another project was changed to fit the budget. The project has a translucent membrane exterior and the roof is also membrane. The stadium came to the stage of completion in January 2021, the name was determined on January 5th.

The stadium was opened with the Nova Caradia match on January 27, but the stadium was left unfinished. The unfinished movable roof was installed in March 2021.

The stadium was used throughout the 2021 FMF World Cup Qualifiers, after which the stadium was temporarily closed for training for the national team before heading to Floria. The stadium also hosted some friendly matches. The stadium was then allocated to Ligyit FK, while the national team did not play a match throughout the year due to the 2022 CiboTap Championship. Linyit FK became the champion in this stadium with an average audience of 55,000.

It hosted the opening and final matches of the 2022 CiboTap Championship, Calbion became the champion in the tournament.

After the tournament, the stadium was closed for a while due to some internal turmoil. Right after Berk Bayındıroğlu came to power, the name of the stadium was changed to "9 September Stadium" in memory of Beta Berk Bayındır. After the Thraci Confederation downgraded the member states' status, the Hazar national football team was dissolved and Linyit FK was left alone in the stadium.
