The "Zar" government is the first of the Republic of Vegno.

The Prime Minister "Lo Zar" Zarrella was appointed by President Visciglia in 1706 AN, after the elections of the same year and received the trust in parliament, after having presented the list of his 12 Ministers.

The first Zar Government is a National Unity Government and sees the support from the Partito Democratico Costituzionale, Forza Vegno,Partito Popolare Vegnese , I Verdi and the Partito Nazionalista Vegnese which reflect the composition of the council of ministers.

It remained in office until the end of the legislature, in 1709 AN, when the new elections and the change of government were held.

  • 7/1706: The Assemblea Nazionale in presence of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, elects its own president: Davide T. Marcia, member of the Partito Nazionalista Vegnese, the country's first party represented in Parliament, with the result of 30 parliamentary votes (out of 51 total), against 21 for Haldi Rinaldi; In this sense the abstention of Forza Vegno was decisive, which allowed the election of T. Marcia after the Government agreement between PDC, FV and PNV. It was necessary to reach the 4th vote (simple decisive majority), due to the lack of agreements between the 3 most important forces in the country. Votation Result
