Y Ffagl or (Calbic for The Torch) is the oldest and most widely read newspaper in Calbion. It was founded in 1585, several years before the establishment of the Calbain nation. It originated as a resistance newspaper, continuously making the case for Calbain unity and sovereignty of the Calbain people in an independent state. Historically, Y Ffagl is right-wing and nationalist paper, although in recent years it has become significantly more liberal. The paper remains closely aligned with the Nationalist Faction in Calbain politics. The Newspaper is also published online since 1692 and available on this website.
