'''Whitstone Keep''' is a castle preceding the [[Leylstadt]]er era. While no documents are left to confirm the date of construction, it's certain that the castle had been in existence for the largest part of the Principality of Aryasht's (1442 - 1637) and served as both hospital as important military base during most of its history. When [[Jingdao]] left the region during the late 1630's, the caste - much like most of the lands - was left to crumble. The Keep, while not having the manpower nor funds to receive the necessary restoration, was nontheless still used by wary travellers who sought safety against the wild animals and robbers.

Whitstone Keep was built into the mountain, while its bridge was the sole way of entering the Duchy.

Whitstone Keep is a castle preceding the Leylstadter era. While no documents are left to confirm the date of construction, it's certain that the castle had been in existence for the largest part of the Principality of Aryasht's (1442 - 1637) and served as both hospital as important military base during most of its history. When Jingdao left the region during the late 1630's, the caste - much like most of the lands - was left to crumble. The Keep, while not having the manpower nor funds to receive the necessary restoration, was nontheless still used by wary travellers who sought safety against the wild animals and robbers.

During the First Valesian Expedition (1664), André Vales ordered his aid, Evert Demer, to restore the keep and make it into a fortress which could serve both as lodgings for visitors as a military outpost to defend the country. It dominates the Demerpas and serves as border to foreigners.
