The White Queen Railway Station serves the city of Hammond in north-western May. It is the first station on the west-east route of the Mercury Main Line.

History

The station opened in 2011, with only light rail serving the city. In 2012, it was added to the Mercury Main Line.

Black Queen Railway Station

The station is twinned with May's Black Queen Railway Station, with both being designed in a similar fashion. Both stations have the same feature checkerboard flooring, and display artworks from local artists.

Services

Trains run to May every 20 minutes from the station, with journeys extending to Taylor every hour. Passengers have to change trains at Taylor to reach Mercury Central, Deacon or Tow Law.
