Personal life

Jovanović was born on 5 July 1998 in Sremska Mitrovica, FR Yugoslavia to a Serbian father and half-French mother. His father is a retired professional volleyball player. The first eight years of childhood he spent in Šid. During the third week of 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia he and his family fled to Bourges, France, and returned shortly after Kumanovo Agreement. In 2006 he moved to Belgrade suburb of Ritopek. Jovanović finished Electrotechnical School in urban neighborhood of Karaburma. At one point he worked for Nordeus, a game developer responsible for creation of Top Eleven. He declares himself as an Orthodox Christian and Serbian nationalist and traditionalist. Youth

Jovanović expressed his interest in football early and at age of five started his first trainings in Radnički Šid. Due to moving to Ritopek, he switched to the local team Podunavac Ritopek.
