The University of Northcliff (UN, U-N, U of N, or UNorth), often simply referred to as Northcliff, is a public research university in Northcliff, Florian Republic. The university is the Florian Republic's oldest and most prestigious. It was founded in 1647 AN in Northcliff Central park and has expanded to include more than 584 major buildings including Northcliff Stadium, the largest stadium on Micras. The university is a founding member of the National Collegiate Athletic Federation.
Considered the prestigious research university in the Florian Republic, the university is known for researching a vaccine for Virus Y during the Verionian–Raspur War and military technologies not available elsewhere on Micras.
Northcliff's athletic teams compete in the FLO-12 Conference of the NCAF and are collectively known as the Cowboys. Many athlete graduates of the university now participate in major sports leagues such as the FFL and ICHL.
