The United Isles scudo is the new currency for the United Isles, replacing the Natopian natopo, Benacian sovereign and Sanaman rilha as legal tender from 1687. The currency is not new but merely an extension of the Florencian scudo already in circulation on the island, to cover the entirety of the country. It will not be pegged to any currency or currency basket, it is instead based on the average price of transporting one pound of cargo from the harbour in Capitolia to the Benacian mainland. The Sanaman rilha will be kept as legal tender during a transition period.
