A Treaty Port refers to the port cities in Jingdao and Alduria that were opened to foreign trade between the two countries. Within Jingdao, Cangshan and Jasoniacheng within the Gangdiguo Special Economic Zone were opened for foreign trade with the Aldurians in 1672 AN. An imperial decree of the Chidao Emperor stated that the Aldurian civilians would be tolerated, as long as they remained within the boundaries of those settlements. Vice versa, the Jingdaoese were permitted to establish trade in Punta Santiago and Amol. Small cultural exchanges between the locals and the newcomers led to the establishment of the first Aldurian church in Cangshan, while an impressive Catodral to honour the Heavenly Light was built in Punta Santiago.
