The Most Noble and Ancient Order of the Crown was established by HRM King August Charles I in 1725 as the highest order that can be bestowed upon any person. The most prestigious and senior of the Orders, the Order of the Crown conveys to people that the recipient has contributed significantly to the overall direction of the nation and has been an integral part of the Kingdom for a long time.

History

Grades

The ribbon of the order is Gold.

The Order of the Crown comes in four classes as follows:

  • (GCC) Grand Commander - His Royal Majesty the King August Charles II is the Grand Commander of the Order.
  • (KCC) Knight Commander - Limited to Ducal rank or above and foreign Heads-of-State.
  • (KC) Knight Officer - May be awarded to any person who is a citizen of Gotzborg. Carries with it the dignity of being addressed by Sir [first name] in Gotzborg.
  • (OC) Officer - May be awarded to any person, citizen or foreign.
