Slavonjan is a language which is spoken mostly within the South Silvensku region in Krasnocoria

History

Old Slavonjan

Old Slavonjan was the language that was spoken in the early days of the Slavonjan people. Pretty much no one speaks this today, as most Old Slavonjan words bare no resemblance to their modern counterparts.

Middle Slavonjan

After the Slavonjans migrated from Northern Apollonia to Southeastern Antica, a new dialect came to be. It is nearly identical to Modern Slavonjan, save for a few words.

Modern Slavonjan/New Slavonjan

After the fall of Antica, there was a surge of Slavonjan nationalism. This wave of nationalism, upon other cultural reforms, created a new dialect of Slavonjan. Many endings of words were changed (For example, many words the -ski ending were changed to have a -ska or -sku ending). This was also the point were the most infamous part of the Slavonjan language came to be, the lowercase g as the first letter of a word, symbolizing the word "of".

Today

Today Slavonjan is still a very popular language. In the District of Slavonje, over 87% of the population can speak the language fluently enough to hold a basic conversation.
