Sint Anna is a city currently located in the Protectorate of Alrig, associated with Shireroth, that was founded in 1586 as St Ann Bay by the Federal Republic of Havnesgade-Amager in territory that had previously been occupied by the Republic of Flanders. Havnesgade-Amager was a short lived nation, that disappeared from the map in 1590. In 1599, the city rose to prominence as it was the capital of the Batavian Freestate, a government of exiled Batavians that opposed the Jingdaoese rule over the Kingdom of Batavia but were under heavy Flemish influence.
