Astronauts will be brought to the station four at a time at intervals of five months, with each astronaut serving ten months onboard the station. A commander, selected from the four ''departing'' astronauts (i.e. the four who have been on the station for the longest) will be in charge of the day-to-day operation of the spacecraft, liaising with ground control in [[Lamantia]].
Each crew member must past both physical and psychological test prior to selection, and must undertake training in Lamantia's Space City before their flight. The Senyan Space Station is a space station orbiting Micras that was put into space and operated by the Senyan Space Agency. Originally constructed in late 1683, the station will become inhabited from 1684 onwards on a permanent basis. The station will be used a research base which can be accessed by any of the members of the Senyan Space Programme's working group.
