The Rusjar Mechanical Machine-Building Plant (Ruthenian: Rusjsky Mekhancheskiy-Mashinostroítelny Zavod) is a defence manufacturing concern and joint-stock company headquartered in the city of Rusjar, the capital of the Ruthenian Republic and the Union of the Republics of Zeed. Established as a partnership between the Central Committee for Security and Defence and the Honourable Company of Constancia, the RMMZ exists to fulfil the material requirements of the Third Directorate of the CCSD.

The Director of the RMMZ, Karl Gutzlaff, a citizen of the Unified Governorates of Benacia, trained by the ESB Design Bureau in Lindstrom, was appointed into post by the First Secretary of the CCSD, Rustam Bukhori Yazghulam, on 10.XV.1689.

Assets of the company, including the plant itself, were occupied by elements of the Revolutionary Armed Forces during 16.II.1693 AN, on the very eve of the Third Euran War.

Effective 26.IX.1701, in accordance with Article 6 of Zeed Directive 2, the Rusjar Mechanical Machine-Building Plant was restructured once more as a State Enterprise, and placed under the Ministry for State Enterprises and National Industry. The contract to operate and manage the concern by ESB Steel was also approved. ESB Steel, being the sole bidder, paid a total pittance of 25 million Imperial Staters for this opportunity, essentially the revenue of ESB Steel for 6 minutes. It was primarily engaged in production of reinforcing bars, and steel bars for domestic consumption and for export.

In 1702, it established a division for the production of roofing sheets, on order of the Zeed Housing Authority.

On 13.XIV.1715 AN, it was awarded a contract to produce 6,560 WNFV 102 APC Armoured Personnel Carriers, 104 WNFV 102A CV Command Vehicles, and 1,200 WNFV 102B IMV Infantry Mobility Vehicles for the Western Natopian Demesnial Forces.

The plant was obliged to undertake a further rapid expansion during the period 1717 AN1721 AN as part of the drive to rearm the Military of the Suren Confederacy during the Wars of the Disinherited, as well as to meet the growing obligation to complete the share of work subcontracted to it by Luix-Satyria Scientific-Production Association LLC under the Rz.Kfz 1714 Razkampfwagen building programme.

The volumes of vehicles demanded by the victorious Raspur Pact from conquered Zeed would ironically become the economic lifeline which preserved Zeed in the dark years of foreign dominance, driving the dramatic expansion of the plant, including the establishment of satellite assembly lines, and the revival of Rusjar through the proliferation of secondary component manufacturers and importers involved in the expansive intercontinental supply chain network required to sustain the operation.
