Biography

Ross Kilder is a Gotzer who rose to public prominence in 2012 with an appointment as Vice Minister of State for Commerce and Industry.

Kilder's early life is poorly documented; born into an obscure provincial family, Kilder was educated at local schools and took one year at the Eber College of Economics before seeking work and life experience around the world. Notably, he spent many years in Australia, calling both Sydney and Canberra home, and he still takes vacation time on the mid-north coast of New South Wales at North Haven.

Married in 1998, and with two daughters from the marriage, Kilder was divorced more than ten years later - unverified reports have it that his ex-wife partly blamed micronationalism. Kilder's daughters live with their mother in Canberra, Australia.

Kilder had connections with both Anthelia and Novasolum through an old school friend who knew some of the prominent leaders of those nations (Koen Nevens and John Darcy), but was a background figure there and (Gotzborg being in hiatus) had no overt role to play. Returning to a quiet job helping to organise a community organisation in Eber, Kilder was encouraged to serve the nation by a chance communication from the Royal Chancellor, Lord Montin, and was appointed Vice Minister of State for Commerce and Industry.

After taking a sabbatical over the December-January break of 2012-13, partly to tidy up his affairs in Eber, Kilder returned to Lonenberg in February 2013 to take charge of his governmental responsibilities.
