The Regional League Championship (often referred to as Hamland Regional League) is the third highest division in the Hammish football league system, after the Hammish Premier League and the Second Division Championship.
The competition was introduced in 2011, introducing 24 new teams from across the country. The league is split into four groups of six teams, with each group representing one of four Hammish regions, with only Taeland not being represented. The top two teams in each group after each team has played the others at home and away qualify for the second stage. Two groups of four teams play another round robin competition, with the top team from each group entering the Regional League Final, played at the St Josaphat Stadium. The winner of the final is promoted to the Second Division Championship.
In the first season, both clubs that reached the final were promoted, expanding the Second Division Championship from six to eight teams.Two teams were added to replace the two promoted ones in 2012.
