Pui-Illt-Irf

When it needs to, the Pui-Illt is capable of changing the color of its feathers to match the color of its environment. When that fails to help it escape from threats, it may spew noxious fluids from the base of its "wrists."

A master of camouflage, the scales of the Pui-Illt-Irf seem to change color according to the color of the surrounding environment. When its camouflage fails to protect it from predators, however, this creature sprays a foul smelling liquid from two bulbs beneath its wrists. The chemical which is sprayed from these bulbs is capable in some cases of causing permanent blindness in predators, including humans.
