His Serine Highness Prince Charles Aelred Harris Ross Von Graustark, Duke of Dawsbergen is the reigning monarch of Graustark after assuming the throne in mid-2019 following the abdication of his mother Princess Lisa Marie of Graustark. Prince Charles was born in the Graustarkian city of Ganlook . Shortly before his birth his grandfather, the reigning monarch; Prince Gerald David of Graustark died. This left Charles' mother Princess Lisa Marie Harris Von Graustark to became the ruler of the nation.
She would serve as Graustark's sovereign until 2019 when (after growing weary of the position) she abdicated and left her son, the now grown Prince Charles as monarch. Since taking the throne, His Highness has instituted several democratic reforms. These include the institution of a democratically elected parliament made up of members of both the nobility and the commoners, and the institution of civil rights (that had been for so long been granted only to the aristocracy).
