Plazas de Irian, officially the Order of the Holy Lakes in right of the Independent State of Plazas de Irian (Phineaner: Perintah Tasik Suci di kanan Negara Bebas Plazas de Irian) is a city-state located in West Keltia and was the realm of the Order of the Holy Lakes and the third member of the Phineonesian Confederation. It borders several other Phinbellan territories namely the Straits Settlements in the northwest, Tri-State Area and Province Wellesley and Suyaj-Ardab in the north, Nabor Klafterschaft in the northeast, and the Islands of Dong Ping in the west. The territory consists of Plazas de Irian, Yapreay, Hukien, Pratas and Tepen Islands, ten outlying islands and part of Tandus Island where the rest are governed by Straits Settlements. The country is home to nearly 4.8 million people, the majority of whom are Irianlander citizens. There are several official languages in the Plazas de Irian: Phineaner, Taesongean, Eeshan, Hoennese, Common Tongue and Yapreayan, only Phineaner and Common Tongue has being the lingua franca. Every official language of this country has its vernacular speech which is Ssamaritan Phineaner and Irian English. Plazas de Irian was annexed into Phinbella since RP 2617 as a special administrative territory, and in 26 September RP 2619, this state officially independence from Phinbella after two years and on 1730 AN, this state officially joined along with Phinbella and Forajasaki as the realm of the Order of the Holy Lakes.

Batu Balik, is the capital and largest city, also as an administrative centre in the state. It also has Port of Batu Balik which is a major and largest port in the state.

Geography

The territory of Plazas de Irian has an area of 2,429.25 square kilometers, it includes the mainland and has 17 islands including Yapreay and Hukien Islands, Pratas Island, Tepen Island and the southern part of Tandus Island where the northern part is controlled by the Straits Settlements. The mainland areas of Plazas de Irian, Hukien Islands and Yapreay Island are separated by the Irian Strait and the Yapreay Strait, the Hukien Islands are bordered by the Tri-State Area via the Pinang Strait. The highest natural point in the region is Mount Tarakan located on Yapreay Island at 3,198 meters.

Climate

The mainland areas of Plazas de Irian and the Hukien Islands have a subtropical highland climate (Köppen‎‎: Cwc) with dry winters and cold summers, while Yapreay Island, Pratas, Tepen, Tandus Island and some the outlying islands have a subarctic climate (Köppen‎‎: Dsd) with no dry seasons and cold summers.

Government and politics

The head of the territory is a total of three persons known as Collective Presidency led by a chairman, accompanied by two members. The Chairman of the Collective Presidency of Plazas de Irian rotates among three members of Phineaner, Taesongean and Irianlander Indians, each to be appointed Chairman for a six-month term during their three years as members of the Collective Presidency. These three members will be elected by the people after independence from Phinbella. Meanwhile, the head of government of the state is the Prime Minister appointed by the Chairman, and the Prime Minister appointed is coming from the Phineaner ethnicity and minorities in the state, whether from the Yapreayans, Hoennese, Thracis or Sanpanese.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Plazas de Irian is a unicameral legislature of this territory, it has 72 seats whose members are Territorial Assemblymen. 44 members are elected directly from constituencies to serve for two years, 20 members are appointed by the Chairman of the Collective Presidency Representatives and eight members serve ex-officio, including all regional commissioners and attorneys.

Foreign relations during as an independent state

Directly or indirectly, Plazas de Irian established a relationship with Phinbella in the beginning. However, the government has clarified that Port of Batu Balik is open to everyone like Tiegang and most other ports. Plazas de Irian had just established a relationship with Mercury and had a Mercurian embassy in Batu Balik, but after Plazas de Irian was removed and planned to join Phinbella, the function of the Mercurian embassy would be converted to a consulate.
