Passas is a country located on Southeastern Keltia, on a peninsula stretching into the Captive Sea. It is directly bordered by the Alexandrian colony of Santa Gertrudis, and shares the Captive Sea with seven other nations including Tokidoki, New Brittania, Col, Kataria, Craitland, the Holzer Empire, and Alexandria.
Passas is officially a Democratic Republic, however, the citizens are largely responsible for most of the nation's decisions. The government consists of two members, President RedDonnet and 1st Minister Matthew Davis. Recently, a new temporary constitution was introduced to better meet the needs of the people. It is also a member of the Micro Illuminati, an organization of close allies including Tokidoki, Craitland, Beaugium, and Novataina, who engage in trade, assist eachother in the event of war, and recognize dual citizenship as means to help each nation grow.
Passas has a recreational culture, and does not currently claim any real world territory. However, many citizens hope to one day claim real world land. There has been no mention of an attempted secession, but many still hope to claim their own land in the near future.
Geography
Passas is located in Southeastern Keltia, east of the Laceran Mountain Range which runs through the middle of the continent. The equator is not far off, running across the south Captive Sea, which means that hot weather and storms are commonplace throughout the nation. Due to the location of the mountains, storms from the sea become trapped over Passas, resulting in a very humid, tropical climate.

Government
Passas is officially a Democratic Republic. When RedDonnet took over the nation, he implemented a new constitution which saw the three member ministry of the original constitution, replaced by only one minister, former president Matthew Davis. Donnet and Davis soon set out to rebuild a struggling nation, which torn apart after Davis resigned from office. Many predicted that the nation wouldn't survive the depression, but the new government proved them wrong. The new president re-opened the national bank, and promoted business. Soon several businesses sprang up around Passas, and the depression ended with an increase in citizen involvement. Now Passas is a thriving society, full of activity. The people are rich for the most part. However, several problems still loom for the nation. Approximately half the population is homeless, and without transportation. The government is planning ways to fix these problems, but it will not be an easy task.
