Coat of arms of the Order of the Holy Lakes in right of Hurmu

The Order of the Holy Lakes in right of Hurmu is a constitutional phrase and principle in Hurmu, by which the sovereignty of Hurmu is vested in the Order of the Holy Lakes.

As examples of this is the dual use of the flag of Hurmu and the coat of arms of Hurmu by both the Order and by the government of the democratic institutions of Hurmu.

Another example of this principle in practice is the Senate of the Lakes as the head of state of Hurmu, and that the Senate is elected only by the adult members of the Order of the Holy Lakes.

Democratic institutions, for example the Assembly of Representatives, and the devolved governments of the states and districts of Hurmu, derive their authority from the Order of the Holy Lakes in right of Hurmu, and exercised in accordance with the principles of the Vesüha Accords that re-established Hurmu statehood.
