Olbers is the smallest city on the state of May in Mercury. It is in south-west of the state.

Industry

Olbers is known as the industrial centre of May, specialising mainly in electrical goods and vehicles. The car company Drive, the biggest selling car manufacturer in Mercury, is based in Olbers, with its main factory in the east of the city.

City Wall

Remnants of a bygone civilisation still remain, in the form of the city wall, which encompasses most of the city of Olbers. Archeologists continue in their endevours to identify the era in which this now mostly crumbling wall was built, and by whom, whilst conservationists attempt to maintain and restore the wall, and a number of heavily circulated books about its potential origins continue to intrigue readers, although how accurate their hypotheses are is not yet known. Best estimates date the wall as being built four to five hundred years ago by a settlement of tradesmen, and fictional accounts of the people who lived where Olbers now is have done well in the fiction book charts across the nation.

The University of Mercury

The Engineering Department of the University of Mercury has its main buildings in Olbers, with many of its graduates going to work for companies in the city, as well as across the whole of Mercury. Its workshops and lecture theatres are in the south of the city.

Sport

Olbers' Paradoxes is the city's football team. The team will participate in the Mercury Third League in the 2013 season.
