The Norse Gate is series of blockades and tolls along the northern inlet of the Strait of Haifa. Named after Normark, it is maintained by the Norse government and the Nordhær. The Norse Gate is located in the bailiwicks of Signe and Hagbard.

Vessels flagged in Normark, Hurmu or the Raspur Pact have no tolls but may need to be inspected. Other ships will be tolled based on whatever tolls are in place for the country of that flag. Vessels flagged in a Bassarid state, Arbor or one of its break-away states, or the Great Apollonian Empire are denied passage and are confiscated. The crews are placed under arrest pending investigations on whether any laws have been broken. In the event that a crew member is innocent of having committed any crimes by entering Norse waters, the crew member is released either to his or her country of citizenship or to the Green.
