The leaves of the Noctic-Rabrev are highly toxic. Consuming them raw can result in the onset of symptoms associated with malignant vampirism.

An entheogenic species of shrub which is found exclusively in the wetlands surrounding Lake Morovia and the central Strait of Haifa, and which is peculiar insofar as it draws energy from darkness rather than from sunlight, Noctic-Rabrev has long been cultivated by producers of alcohol along the Strait of Haifa, who often incorporate its flowers into their homemade beers, wines, and spirits.
