The Niyi Engine and Truck Company (usually called NET) is a Sanaman truck and bus manufacturer headquartered in Niyi. Founded in 1655 when Faca sold its heavy truck and engines division to private investors, the company has since then developed its own Niyi-based identity. NET designs, manufactures and distributes medium to heavy commercial trucks designed for long-distance and construction haulage, and distribution of goods, as well as buses and heavy commercial engines. NET operates vehicle assembly plants in Niyi and North Nee City, with engine manufacturing in Pakor City. The company sold around 100,000 trucks in 1685, primarily in the Benacian market. Following the Sanaman Civil War, NET was turned into an employee controlled and operated company, owned by the Federation of NET Workers. Each person employed by the company is allowed to participate in the annual company meeting, where strategy, finances and governance are discussed and decided. Each employee may also participate in elections for the Executive Board which oversees the operation of the company and hires the CEO.
