A map of the Eastern Eura Trade Association.

Established in 31.06 PSSC following the approval of a treaty between Passio-Corum and pirate leaders in Eura, the Eastern Eura Trade Association is among the most important regions which constitute the Greater Pallisican Trade Association insofar as it represents the bridge between the nation's holdings in Corum and Keltia. All commerce traveling between the two continents passes through the trade routes of the Eastern Eura Trade Association.

History

Atos sets on the forests of Uso-Oname haunted by the artificial intelligence known as He.

The informal capital of the Eastern Eura Trade Association, the city of Rey - formerly known as Alcazar Haketia - was established by the Republic of Ashkenatza in the year 20.62 PSSC, and was later resettled and and re-named by the Kingdom of Babkha in 23.19. Today the city represents the gateway to Eura for visitors traveling from Corum and the regions of the Austral Strait. With that said, the city holds a special place in the hearts and minds of most Pallisicans, especially given its role in the whirlwind romance which existed between Queen Esper I and the King of Rey. With that said, the city is regarded by foreigners across Eura as being the seat of Bassarid imperialism in Eura. The Bassarids, for their part, reject this characterization.

Transportation

The most common mode of transportation in Réi is rail. Railways in the region are maintained by the Trans-Eurani Railway Corporation.

The city of Réi is home to an Imperial Bassarid Orbital Transit Depot, which connects the city to the orbital trade routes which extend between Corum, Eura, and Keltia.

Military Installations

Réi is home to Fort Esper. The second largest of the Haifo-Pallisican military installations in Eastern Eura, Fort Esper plays a central role in the operations of the Railway Archer Regiments in Eura.

Protected Areas

The largest protected area in the Realm of Réi is the region known as the Hills of He, a vast hilly region densely forested in pine and invasive Uso-Oname, at the heart of which is His Mountain, the tallest peak in the entirety of the Eastern Eura Trade Association. At the peak of His Mountain is the Home Beacon of He, the primary transmitter of a highly advanced artificial intelligence of unknown origin. Known as "He," this artificial intelligence, which has embedded itself into the molecular structure of all living things in the region, possesses the ability to transmit travelers through the region to the Interdimensional, a terrifying realm without dimensions, in which all of time and space exists simultaneously.

Located on the southern edge of the Hills of He is the Libri hed Réi, three enormous towers which contain all written knowledge regarding the artificial intelligence which haunts the region.

History

An abandoned hunter's cabin stands in the shadow of a pine covered karst in the Wood of the Stone Temples.

Located on the northern edge of Eura's prime wine country, the city of Zinjibar is among the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Eastern Eura. Established by the Kingdom of Babkha in 16.98 PSSC, the city today serves as a particular stronghold for Pallisican interests in the Eurani continent. To that extent, Zinjibar is home to the Eurani headquarters of the New Zimian War League, as well as that of the Greater Eurani Trade Association, which represents the Eurani continent on the Port of Vines. The city of Zinjibar, with that said, is among the most famous cities in the Bassarid sphere of influence. This fact is a testament to the role which the city played in the War League's brief, defining campaign against forces commanded by Captain Poldark.

History

One of the most famous landmarks in all of Bassarid Euranidom, the ancient Temple of Ebrahim is today the headquarters of the Northern Division of the Port of Euranidom.

Located at the tip of northeastern Eura, in the furthest windswept eastern reaches of the region of Shahzamin, Bandar-e Ebrahim - later renamed Bajiä-e Ebrahíama by the Bassarids - is an ancient and storied city which today defines the portal between the Storish Orange Sea and the vast Pallisican-controlled Sea of Storms. Given its highly strategic location in the Micrasian east, Bandar-e Ebrahim - known from 16.82 PSSC until 23.19 as Bandar i-Aurang - is in modern times the last major port of Eura's Pallisican privateers, whose numbers have been on the decline since the establishment of the Eastern Eura Trade Association in 31.06 PSSC. Today, however, it is not pirates who maintain power and influence in the city, desire it as they may, but the owners and managers of the Salt Mines of Shahzamin, whose grip extend well beyond the city itself - across northern Eura to Truva and Qoamävra, onward to the Stars Archipelago and Vandia-Levi.

Transportation

The primary mode of transportation in Bajiä-e Ebrahíama is sail. Ferries are very common in the region; travelers may venture across the entirety of northern Corum at ease on board any number of private ferries which operate out of the region's capital city, and which offer 24 hour passage between Bajiä-e Ebrahíama and the Stars Archipelago. With this said, rail is another common mode of transportation in the region. Railways are maintained by the Trans-Eurani Railway Corporation.

The city of Corasunt is home to an Imperial Bassarid Orbital Transit Depot, which connects the city to the orbital trade routes which extend between Corum, Eura, and Keltia.

Military Installations

The primary military installation in the region of greater Bajiä-e Ebrahíama is Fort Truva.

Protected Areas

The government of Bajiä-e Tude formally protects the chaparral-covered lands controlled by the Salt Mines of Shahzamin, one of the Eura's oldest continuously operating business enterprises.

History

Perhaps the oldest settlement in Eastern Eura, the city of Vëlacío has long been supported by a rich and vibrant dye industry, which continues today to prosper across the region's hilly, sub-tropical climate. Despite its relatively small population in contrast to Eastern Eura's other Bassarid territories, Vayelon is regarded as playing a particularly central role in the overall well-being of the Trade Association as a whole. With that said, the region is perpetually plagued by illnesses believed to be indirectly associated with the operations of the Artifical Intelligence known as He, which haunts the semi-mountainous region known as the Hills of He.

History

By far the largest of the constituent member-states of the Eastern Eura Trade Association, Shahpéo is a vast sub-tropical region which despite the presence of several key cities, remains largely un-urbanized and lacking in any major industry or trade with outside investors. Despite initiatives aimed at bolstering trade in the region and promoting Bassarids ways of life, most of the region's rural and urban inhabitants remain steadfastly committed to their local cultures.

History

Formally recognized in 37.20 PSSC - along with Vëlacío and Shahpéo - as a semi-independent constituent member of the Eastern Eura Trade Association, Norasht is regarded as being the gateway to the wild and volatile Eurani heartland. The New Zimian War League therefore maintains a considerable presence in this region, where it constantly hones it strategy and tactics to account for the unusual terrain, which itself is best defined by the several hundred kilometer cliff-face known as Edíazo Rim.

Transportation

The most common mode of transportation in Norasht is rail. Railways in the region are maintained by the Trans-Eurani Railway Corporation.

Military Installations

Norasht is home to Fort Norasht. The largest of the Haifo-Pallisican military installations in Eastern Eura, Fort Norasht plays a central role in the operations of the Railway Archer Regiments in Eura.

Protected Areas

The government of the Realm of Norasht formally protects the Rest of the Watching Hunter, an expansive cemetery built atop Edíazo Rim. Over this cemetery - the final resting place of those who give their life in the struggle to preserve and defend Bassarid Eura - there stands a grand statue of a figure which can be interpreted as being either Artemis or Apollo. Pilgrims are known to camp near the base of this statue, which overlooks the gulf known as the Tides of Vayelon.

History

Located at the mouth of the Gulf of Zinjibar, in northeastern Eura, the Krey'Akusu were islands originally claimed by the New Zimian Temple Authority, which used the archipelago as the center of its operations across Eura. The archipelago was formally abandoned by the Temple Authority, however, in 42.73 PSSC, following a protracted blockade of the islands spearheaded by the New Zimian War League, which sought to eliminate foreign and outside, domestic support for rebel paramilitary groups operating in the region. Following its abandonment by the Temple Authority, the archipelago was placed informally under the administration of the New Zimian Merchant Marines.

Originally established in 32.01 PSSC as an auxiliary of the New Zimian War League, the New Zimian Merchant Marines were in in 35.95 formally recognized, after years of lobbying, as the primary Regional Investor of all citizens of the Haifo-Pallisican Imperial Trade Union who are actively employed as merchants by the companies featured on the Port of Vines. The Merchant Marines, to this end, are responsible for providing stipends to the nation's merchants as they transport goods from location to location across the Imperial Trade Association. In exchange for these stipends, which are provided in addition to the regular stipends provided by an individual's primary regional investor, those supported by the New Zimian Merchant Marines may be called upon to defend the nation's interests at any moment.
