Nations of the United Isles

The United Isles consists of three autonomous nations, corresponding to the main island groupings. The confederation is responsible for foreign affairs, defence and monetary policy, while the nations handle all other policy areas. Each nation is governed in accordance with its own laws and customs, and is represented in the Council of the United Isles by three representatives, in turn appointed according to local law and custom.
