National anthem of Calbion
Template:CalbionCalbion does not have an official anthem as defined by law, however, the nation has several songs, some with some form of official status, that can be regarded as anthem of Calbion.
Calbion, fy Gwlad y Adra
The song "Calbion, fy Gwlad y Adra" was the official anthem of Calbion during the Southbatavian period. The song was a popular folk song, written by Alun Morgan, and received official status by proclamation of King Jack I.
Lyrics
Calraeg:
Wlad lle y dreigiau a duwiau yn byw.
Gwlad lle mae fy rhieni, a fy mhobl yn byw.
Gwlad y Calbain yw fy nhy
a bydd yn parhau.
Wlad brydferth yw fy nhy, a bydd yn parhau.
English:
Land where the dragons and the gods lived.
Land where my parents and my people live.
Calbion it is my home,
and will remain that for ever.
This splendid nation is my home and will remain that for ever.
Calon Lân
Calon Lân has probably been the most popular hymn in Calbion. It used to have official status as anthem since the Calbain declaration of independence and has continued to be performed on official occasions such as sport matches under the Brettish protectorate. The song is also the anthem of the Calbain Catologian church.
