National Broadcasting Corporation (abbreviated: NBC, Martino: Corporación Nacional de Radiodifusión; Alexandrian: Société Nationale de la Radiodiffusion) is a New Alexandrian semi-independent public broadcaster owned partially by the public and financed through public funds, primarily through tax revenue. It is a free television service available to all people of Nouvelle Alexandrie. The management is conducted by a Director, who is appointed by the Secretary of Communications with the advice of the Cortes Federales. It runs a total of 9 national television channels, 62 regional stations, and 54 radio stations in Nouvelle Alexandrie, based in Cárdenas. NBC is the largest broadcaster in the country. It was founded in 1685 AN, it operates radio, television, and online services.

NBC operates five television channels (NBC1, NBC2, NBC3, NBC4, and NBC5), regional television which networks with NBC2 and NBC5, four satellite television channels (NBC S1 and NBC S2, as well as ultra-high-definition television channels; NBC S4K and NBC S8K), a national 24/7 digital news channel (NBC Newsfeed), and 54 radio stations (NBC Radio 1, NBC Radio 2, NBC Radio 3, NBC FM1, NBC FM2, NBC FM3, as well as regional stations).

NBC was the third broadcaster in Micras to broadcast in High definition after Hoenn and KBS (using Hi-Vision).

In addition, NBC provides international broadcasting, known as NBC International Broadcasting, which includes 2 short-wave radio and 3 satellite television stations.

NBC broadcasts four Micran television channels:

  • NBC1 (Channel 3.1) - A 24-hour national flagship channel of NBC airing news and information programs, children's programming, and local and imported programs. It also airs current affairs news, such as the daily 8 o'clock news. NBC also airs public information films and minor entertainment programming, however, the majority of that is on NBC2 and NBC3, respectively.
  • NBC2 (Channel 3.2) - a 21-hour second channel of NBC that airs the bulk of entertainment programs, also airing local and imported soap operas and television dramas. NBC also airs public information films and documentaries and regional news broadcast, not covered on NBC1.
  • NBC3 (Channel 3.3) - a 21-hour third channel of NBC focused on minor and youth entertainment programs. It also airs entertainment films not on NBC1 or 2.
  • NBC4 (Channel 3.4) - a 21-hour fourth channel of NBC focused on government-specific programming such as televised meetings of government bodies such as the Cortes Federales and regional government bodies.
  • NBC5 (Channel 3.5) - a 24-hour fifth channel of NBC focused on bringing regional and local programming to a national audience, airs regional news broadcasts or rebroadcasts news coverage from NBC2.

Note: These channels have news content. However, the newscasts of the news division are primarily aired on NBC1. Some of the channels tend to simulcast the news division's programs including NBC S1, while NBC2 and NBC4 replay some of the division's news programs.

NBC has 62 regional stations covering all regional markets in Nouvelle Alexandrie, shown below in their native names and broadcast area. In most regards, they broadcast a similar format to NBC1, but focused on regional and local programs.

  • NBC Newsfeed - A 24-hour news channel of NBC, a digital sub-channel of NBC1, has a program slot called News of the Day. Broadcasts NBC news division programs.
  • NBC MusicMania - A 24-hour music channel of NBC, a digital sub-channel of NBC1. Programming centers around the music, fashion, and culture of Nouvelle Alexandrie. Broadcasts entertainment and fashion news.

Satellite television

  • NBC S1 - A general satellite channel offering diversified programs on current affairs, education, information, arts and culture, and other interests. It's also encoring local stations dramas and children's programming.
  • NBC S2 - Airing NBC's productions programs and imported programs. Also simulcasting the live programming.
  • NBC S4K and NBC S8K - The Ultra High Definition channels. Air music videos, films, and re-runs of dramas.

Radio

  • NBC Radio 1* (818 kHz AM/101.7 MHz FM NBC Radio One) - news, current affairs, drama, documentary, and culture.
  • NBC Radio 2* (758 kHZ AM/95.5 MHz FM NBC Music) - adult hits, entertainment.
  • NBC Radio 3* (988 kHZ AM/103.8 MHz FM NBC News Radio) - all-news radio station.
  • NBC FM1 (88.9 MHz FM NBC Classical) - classical music and folk music.
  • NBC FM2* (91.4 MHz FM Non-Stop) - Popular music.
  • NBC FM3 (87.5 MHZ FM NBC International FM) - the NBC international radio service.

National Broadcasting Company offers news reports from local, national, and international as well as sports. A NBC flagship news program, the 8 O'Clock News is broadcast daily at 20:00 and is broadcast in all languages of Nouvelle Alexandrie with audio tracks on NBC1 and NBC2. Meanwhile, there are also morning and afternoon news programs, such as News Affairs and NBC One Today. Another important news program, Global News, is broadcast daily at 22:00 as Nighttime News Report, and at 08:00 as Good Morning Alexandrie, it is also broadcast on NBC2. News on NBC S1 is broadcast at 20:30, except during live sports events. NBC S1 also broadcasts NBC Satellite News Service at 16:00.

NBC offers regional news (broadcast on NBC2 networking), regional language news (also broadcast on NBC2 networking, such as news in Alduria, Wechua, and Santander) and educational news (Broadcast on NBC3 and NBC S2). NBC International News is a Common Tongue lanaguage program designed for international audiences and aired on NBC International Broadcasting.

NBC2 also operates its own flagship news, Daily Affairs which airs at 21:00 and at 09:00. NBC3 operates specially-tailored news for minors, Your News, at 18:30.
