Mortis

The Line of Mortis is one of the oldest imperial bloodlines of Shireroth. Its progenitor was the middle child of Kaiser Raynor I, Mortis Raynor Me'Jiliad. None of its members claimed the kaisership until Kaiser Mors I some 1400 years later. Descent from Kaiser Raynor I through the Line of Mortis is therefore thought to be dubious at best. Nonetheless, the imperial court of Shireroth has recognized it as a legitimate line of descent, provided all other kaisers from the line can trace their linerage to Kaiser Mors I.
