Modanese Migration

Various causes have been attributed to the Modanese Migration; terror at the onset of the White Plague, dissatisfaction with Kezanite rule in Shirekeep, a desire to repudiate subservience to the Kalirion dynasty, or indeed to generalised ennui and a desire to withdraw from a dying world. All of these factors may have played their part in the events of 1667, which saw the Modanese ruling classes, along with fellow travellers of Babkhi and Goldshirian origin, particularly those associated with the ESB Group depart from the Imperial Republic and join the growing band of diasporas (Alexandrian, Caputian, Wechua, etc) in making the desolated husk that was the Euran continent their new home.
