Mitrovska (Corian: Митровска) is a former Corian city, since 1694 part of Hurmu. Since 1696, it is the capital of Northern Coria.

Former Krasnocorian prime minister Obrad Bošković was born in Mitrovska and grew up there.

Football

Football has been an important aspect of Mitrovska's social and cultural life. Its team FK Spartak Mitrovska was the pride of the city for the duration of Coria's existence. Despite the end of that team, Mitrovska Stadium, with a capacity of 31,450, remains an important part of the city's sports and cultural life.

Security

Mitrovska lies within the Lontinien patrol district of the Hurmu Constabulary and the 3rd Division of the Special Auxiliary Constabulary. Mounted patrols, varying in size from squad (8) to squadron (120) strength, pass through the city on a weekly basis. These patrols, whether following the coast or coming to or from the interior, stop over in the city to collect supplies and remounts as well as to deliver prisoners into custody pending their trial.

The port receives a monthly visit from one of the revenue cutters of the Revenue Service, which maintains a compound consisting of a customs office and warehouse in the port, manned by a detachment forty revenue-men. Their duties encompass combating the illegal importation of goods, illegal immigration and illicit transactions amongst travellers.

The Constabulary maintains a fortified blockhouse within the Revenue Service compound. Manned by an eleven-man detachment, consisting of a Constable, his apprentice, a beadle, and eight chosen-men, the blockhouse serves as a detention facility for captives brought into the interior or detained in the city who are awaiting transportation to Ghawlama for trial. The blockhouse houses a raised observation platform as well as an integrated communications array consisting of:

  • 1x ES-6: VHF/UHF/SATCOM radio communication system
  • 1x ES-7HF/DF: High-frequency direction finding radio direction finder
  • 1x ES-21A: Panopticon Communications Relay Node
  • 1x ES-26: VERITAS encrypted telex system

Mitrovska is also the garrison town of the 19th Volunteer Grenadier Regiment of the Honourable Company, stationed at the Forward Operating Base Longstreet serving under the banner of the Confederate States Armed Forces as part of the AMEAHL's stabilisation mission in Lontinien.
