THE COMMITTEE FOR THE DEMOCRATIZATION OF AMOKOLIA.

We, members of the Committee for the Democratization of Amokolia, have for a long time endured tyranny in a country we now are ashamed of calling our home. The recent elections, said to be in accordance in laws that in fact do not exist, said to be governed under an electoral committee that in fact does not exist, have proven the dictatoriality of the present regime of Amokolia.

Not only were the elections handled in a way that made the members of the opposition, whose tiredless struggle to reinstitute the Sænate made the elections possible, unable to cast their votes, but the entire elections were rigged with complexity and rush, proving indeed that the governing faction of Amokolia believes only in its own power, not in the freedom of the people or the people's right to voice their opinions.

For when the people challenged the elections, the regime responded by not handling the complaints in a fair fashion, neglecting the laws of nations and the rights of the human being which dictate that all complaints are to be handled independently of those who performed the actions, fairly and justly. Neither of these three requirements were upheld.

Bearing this in mind, we demand new democratic elections lasting at least 100 hours, supervised by the international community, held in a fashion we here make known.

For the office of the president, all citizens shall have the right to stand for office as well as vote. The system shall be first past the post.

For any particular Sænate provincial seat, only citizens of that particular province may stand for election and be elected. That is, each province will act as a single-member constituency for the Sænate. The system here shall be first past the post.

Should the regime not accept these demands, the Committee for the Democratization of Amokolia will ensure the right rooted in international law for self-determination of a free people, as well as ensuring the life, security and freedom for its people, in a wider setting.
