Microvision was started in 2006 by Hieu Chi Tuong and dr-spangle.
It originally begun having 1 competition every 2 months, but changed to once every 3 months, at the start of 2008, Plans are currently in progress to change it to once every 4 or 6 months.
The latest competition was in August 2008, and Entries for the January 2009 competition are currently being collected.
