[[Mehmet Arslan]] is the sixth [[President of New Batavia]]. He became president after [[Saladin]] left the office to become [[Sultan of Kurum Ash-Sharqia|Sultan]] of [[Kurum Ash-Sharqia]].
The city hall of [[Patriottenbaai]] is the seat of the local city council, the mayor and the alderman of Patriottenbaai. The city is the capital of the governorate of [[Al-Khaliej]]. It's an important hub for transport, services and finance and hence the economic capital of New Batavia.


The original portrait was painted by Jean-François Portaels and pictures Flemish author Hendrik Conscience (1812-1883). He is considered the pioneer of Dutch-language literature in Flanders, writing at a time when Belgium was dominated by the French language among the upper classes, in literature and government. He is still remembered in Flanders as "the man who taught his people how to read". The painting was made around 1870.

City Hall of Patrottenbaai

The city hall of Patriottenbaai is the seat of the local city council, the mayor and the alderman of Patriottenbaai. The city is the capital of the governorate of Al-Khaliej. It's an important hub for transport, services and finance and hence the economic capital of New Batavia.

The original picture features the "district house" of Borgerhout, part of the Flemish city of Antwerp. It was built between 1886 en 1889 in Flemish renaissance revival architecture and was designed by brothers Leonard and Henri Blomme.
