MicrasCast is a micronational podcast hosted by Edgard Carrillo. The first episode of the podcast was released on Spotify and Soundcloud on 2 May 2020.
History
Format and structure
The format of MicrasCast has varied depending on the needs of the show. The first four episodes were recorded as a discussion panel which talked about a variety of facets of Micras, before the following three episodes were done as one-on-one interviews, with Edgard interviewing another member of the community about their involvement, projects and experiences on Micras. Occasionally, MicrasCast may take on a further format for a special event, such as the Microvision episode which was conducted in the style of a live show, whilst a sports special discussion the various FMF tournaments was also broadcast, which was styled on a sports radio preview show.
Typically, most episode end with Carrillo asking the participants about their nations and what has been going on, as a way of showcasing their nations and attracting interest into their projects.
All episodes are hosted by Carrillo, with the sole exception of episode 8, which was hosted by Barnaby due to his experience and knowledge of the Micras sporting world.
