The team was founded in early 2014 after Mar Sara, which had existed on Micras since before the FMF's founding, applied successfully for FMF membership. In their first qualifiers, the team finished third in their five-team group with eleven points.

The qualifying rounds for CiboTap 2016 saw the team finish third in their five-team group with 14 points.

In the 2017 World Cup qualifiers, Mar Sara finished second in their four-team group with ten points.

The team competed in the 2018 CiboTap Championships qualification rounds, where they finished second in their four-team group with ten points to advance to the play-offs, where they were beaten 2–1 on aggregate by the North Antarctic Domain. In late 2018, Mar Sara was annexed by Natopia and maintained its separate FMF membership.

In the 2019 World Cup qualifiers, the team finished fourth in their five-team group with eleven points.

In the following year's CiboTap qualifiers, the team finished third in their four-team group with seven points, ahead of Ralgon on goal difference.
