Malexander (Mishalanese: Малександр, Maleksandr; Elw: Малакисандэр, Malakisandyr; Army Crandish: Malexanderstad) is an Elwynnese city and bailiwick in the East Amokolian county of Vattnaland. Historically, Malexander was seen as the cultural capital of Amokolia, and remains to this day the centre of Amokolian literature and art. The Amokolian poet and royal sænator Daniel Malexander grew up in Malexander, and adopted his nome-de-plume after his beloved home. Bailiwick population, as of 1680, is 493,423. The official languages of Malexander are Amokolian and Mishalanese.

Malexander was incorporated in 1532. The name derives from the old Amokolian Malakisanderstadt (the town by Malachi's shore), and refers to the now-reclaimed lake Malachi, located in what is now the centre of the city.
