Leopards Claw
Leopards Claw is the military arm of the National Reclamation Force. The militia was established in 892 from the remnants of the Nova English Army units that had remained in the city of Detsab following the Evacuations. After the creation of the Detsab Ward under the newly reformed Kingdom of Nova England, the militia was restructured as an officially sanctioned Ward militia and soon after aligned itself with the National Reclamation Force. Due to the militia’s ancestry it is structured along the lines of a standard Nova English Army Brigade.
Recruitment & Training
The Leopards Claw militia is composed from a mixture of civilians and former soldiers recruited from the greater Detsab ward. The majority of whom are fiercely loyal to the National Reclamation Force. For those without formal military training the militia would run courses at their headquarters in the former Detsab Athletics Stadium. These new recruits would then join their assigned squad and take part in a number of operations within Detsab. Due to the volatile nature of the city after the Evacuations, most militiamen have taken part in vicious urban warfare operations and are required to be self-reliant.
Composition
Leopard’s Claw is composed of 7,854 militia men and women, under the command of the NRF. Their current headquarters is the Detsab Athletics Stadium however they maintain a number of forward operating bases throughout Detsab and the surrounding settlements.
