The Lake Cherusken Alliance (more popularly known locally as the Alianza del Lago Cherusken, or ALC) is a socioeconomic organization to better improve efficiencies and secure better coordination among settlements and local governments located around Lake Cherusken, which have traditionally fared worse economically than the southwestern Keltian coast cities of the Federation. It is evolving into a political alliance as well.

Confederation of the Cinque Ports

In 1694 AN, hearing news of the formation of the Confederation of the Cinque Ports political and economic leaders from Castellon, Rossello, Acevedo, Alpamayo, Viseu, Mancos, San Juan, Vela, Hato Rey, Loiza and Achiyaku decided to form a counterpart organization at their inaugural summit in Puerto Carillo.

A Council comprising three representatives for each city (one representative from the city government, another from the city business leaders, and another representing port, dockyard, and shipping interests) meets quartely to discuss matters, while a Permanent Commission meets monthly. The Alliance is led by a President, elected annually by the Council. The President chairs the Council and Permanent Commission.

In 1704 AN, noting the economic efficiencies that could be achieved, they incorporated a subsidiary corporation under the laws of Nouvelle Alexandrie, the Lake Cherusken Ferry.

Expansion of the Alliance

In 1718 AN, at the conclusion of Operation Purple Splendor and the admission of Boriquén, the cities of Hato Rey, Dorado, Vela, and Rio Hondo joined the Lake Cherusken Alliance.
